Limespring School

Covid -19 Update March 16th

I wanted to keep you updated as to what we are doing here at Limespring. Obviously, we are being mindful of the children and staff’s physical and mental health and this is our main priority.

We are daily checking and keeping up with Public Health England and World Health Organisation advice.

We are monitoring the situation and following the procedures below:

We are encouraging everyone to wash hands thoroughly

  • On arrival
  • After using the toilet
  • Before eating
  • After break
  • Before going home

We clean and disinfect all regularly touched surfaces such as door handles, tables, taps etc. at least twice daily.

We are following the Catch It, Bin It, Kill It guidelines.

We are asking children/staff to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

We are asking children/staff to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

Can I ask that if you or your child has recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature that you follow the advice given. Stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started.

Also, that if you go abroad anywhere, that you do not come in to the centre for 14 days.

I hope that we can keep the centre open until the Easter Break (27th March) and obviously going forward will continue to follow Public Health England advice. I am speaking to staff about remote/online delivery of lessons and will keep you informed.

Best wishes
